Astra's Visitor

There is something about Alex's tone of voice and facial expression that makes Astra feel uneasy. She somehow seems different from how she was in the kitchen. Her suspicion is confirmed when Alex says: "Come back to Caemlyn willingly, and I'll let you live."

He has found her so quickly! How far does she need to travel before she is finally beyond his reach?

Alex brings her arm from behind her back, and reveals that she is carrying a wicked-looking kitchen knife. Astra decides that she had better play for time. Besides, it can't hurt to learn more about what Fred's plans for her are. "If I return with you, you'll put me back in the dungeon?"
