Going South

Carrying on in a roughly southerly direction, before long she encounters a path that is heading in the right direction. She takes it, and after another mile or two reaches a crossroads. There is a signpost, telling her that she has come five miles from Caemlyn. She hopes that this may be far enough for her to be beyond Fred's power. The signpost also indicates that if she carries on for another two miles she will reach a village called Redstone. As dusk is beginning to fall, it seems like it might be a good place to spend the night, as well as giving her an opportunity to buy food and clothing.

1. She reaches the village.
2. Before she can reach the village, the temperature drops dramatically and heavy snow starts to fall. It seems that Fred can alter the weather over a wide area, for the change can't be natural.
3. She encounters someone on the track.
