The alien on the viewscreen inclined his head. "Very well. Prepare the
female for transport to us." Stacy's captor stuck some sort of device onto
her clothing. "Home in on the transponder signal," it directed the alien
on the viewscreen. "Wait!" cried Stacy, realizing what was about to happen here. "No! I can't leave Robert!" She cast a pleading look at the viewscreen. "You can't abandon my brother to these people! It's..." But she was cut off suddenly as a now-familiar glow enveloped her, and she found herself... elsewhere. Dazedly, she looked around. The room she was in looked much like the interior of the first ship she'd set foot on, except for being slightly larger. One of the aliens stood before her. She thought the look on its face was sympathetic, but, she told herself, with an alien, who knew? "My brother..." she tried again. "You can't just leave Robert there!" After regarding her for a long moment, it responded.
