Astra finds that the keys have landed a few tantalising inches beyond the
reach of her foot. "Crap!" she says, with such force that it gets through
to Sir Lots42.
He stops fighting the air with his sword. "But I don't need to crap," he protests. Astra sighs. "It was intended as an expletive - one that it would shock my royal parents to learn that I knew - not an instruction. Now do you think that you could pick up the keys - they are quite safe to hold now that you have slain them - and unlock my chains?" Lots considers this. "Yes, I think that I could do that," he says. Astra waits, but Lots doesn't do anything. Eventually she realises her mistake. "When I said 'could', I wasn't enquiring as to your ability to do it. I meant that that was what I would like you to do." "Why didn't you say so in the first place?" At last Lots picks up the keys and frees Astra.
