"And we were just inspecting your keyhole," added Scott helpfully. But the hole Scott was looking at was soft, smooth and wasn't accustomed to having keys slotted into it.

"You know I have been having trouble with the lock recently," said Astra. "It seems to get stuck."

"Maybe it just needs lubricating," said Josh.

"Looks fine from where I'm standing," said Scott.

Astra leaned forward and peered into the keyhole. "I can't really tell," she said, "it's too dark in there. Maybe you could shine a torch inside."

Scott was behind Astra as she leaned away from him and his mouth hung open. "I'm sure that would be very revealing.
