Midnight at the Lost and Found

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 92383

A man in knightly garb lies battered and bruised on a roof somewhere. He is approached by another man with the air and manners of a game show host, holding a microphone and followed by a camera crew.

"Lord Frederigo d'Honaire," declares the microphone man. "You have just found the Lost city of Ib. What do you feel right now?"

The knight looks up and groans. "Pain..."

"Ah yes," says the host as the camera tilts back for a moment. "You had quite a fall there. Let's hope the winter will be better." He pauses for a burst of canned laughter befored he continues: "But seriously, the City of Ib has been lost for six hundred and twenty-four years, give or take."

"Give or take what?"

"Whatever it needs. Discovering it must have been quite a thrill, right?"

Fred sits up holding his side and looks around. "More like a spill. And it's my blood that's been spilled." He looks menacingly at the figure hovering above him and adds: "Though if you keep pestering me, I'm sure arrangements can be made to spill some of your blood as well."

Undaunted, the host turns to the camera and exclaims triumphantly: "And there you have it, dear viewers! Will more blood be spilled? Find out after this message from our sponsors!"

  1. Fred realizes the cameraman is a foxmorph. He's on Canid Camera!
  2. They watch the commercials. Fred is uncannily familiar with the products being advertised.
  3. Fred punches the host.
  4. Fred accuses the person holding the 'demon box' (camera) of serving a false god.
  5. Scantily clad catgirls start serving frozen yogurt.
  6. Slappy the Squirrel declares "Now that's Entertainment!"
  7. Wait, if this is a lost city, how did all these people get there?
