Fortunately the spellbook had a time reversal spell. It would take three month's off a person's life force but Fred was willing.
Soon, Astra was back alive and her normal size. However, bizarrely enough, her splattered remains were still on the walls and shelves. Astra, slightly confused, asks Fred what the gore was.

  1. Lie.
  2. Tell the truth.
  3. Run like a coward.
  4. Fred pleads the fifth, even though such phrase won't be invented.
  5. Astra figures it out by herself when she sees a familiar birthmark on one of the larger chunks.
  6. Fred explodes.
  7. Fred stammers, then Astra notices he now has a few white hairs where he didn't before.
