Starvation Plan?

They got to know every inch of the bedroom,from the stout,securely locked door to the window that overlooked an extremely long drop...from a high tower directly over a cliff into a gorge,certainly thousands of feet!

"Good heavens",said Fred at last..."could this master wizard be treating us with such contempt that he wishes us to starve to death??While fuming helplessly the whole while??"

1. The princess agreed that this was quite possible.
2. Fred tried dangling out of the window on bedsheets to see if he could get into a room below.
3. Suddenly food and drink flashed into being on a table...they approached it cautiously.
4. Eventually not only hungry but tired,they agreed to share the bed,at a discreet distance.
