Nothing Is Ever Easy

"This is no time for games," the Doctor added sternly.

The Master actually looked somewhat panicky. "I am not joking, Doctor. I had the device in my pocket and now it is missing." He glared at them. "Which one of you took it?"

"We didn't..." began Betty 2 at the same time as the Doctor started to say "This isn't..." They both fell silent, casting worried looks at the Master, who looked about ready to bolt and run.

1. Melissa sheepishly pulled something out of her pocket. "Uh, is this what you're looking for?"
2. "Well, there's no time to look for it," said the Doctor. "We'll just have to try something risky."
3. The Master bolted and ran.
