Plunged Into Darkness

"What happened?" asked Stacy.

"I must have cut the wrong cable," the Doctor muttered. "That was the circuit for the lights."

"So we haven't stopped the explosion?" asked Melissa apprehensively.

"No," said the Doctor. From the noises he was making (it had become far too dark to see), he seemed to be patting down his pockets. "I'm sure I had a torch here somewhere..."

Betty-2 sighed. "And you were supposed to be the one who's really good with gadgetry..." she mumbled. She broke off, as suddenly the room was illuminated. They all whirled around, blinking, to see a figure holding a flashlight. In the sudden glare, none of them could quite make out who it was, but then it spoke.

1. "Well, hello again. You really should make surer of your knots before you leave an enemy alone in your TARDIS, Doctor."
2. "Stop. You will not be allowed to interfere with our plans." The voice was flat, metallic, and emotionless.
3. "Must obey the Master. Must kill the intruders."
4. "What the hell is going on here?"
5. "Come with me, quickly. I'm here to help you!"
