I felt that I ought to set out at once so as to try to ensure that I would overtake your people before they reached the Northern Caves. Therefore I arranged with Vedagaisic that he would proceed into Themyscira as the pair of you had originally planned and would talk to the appropriate officials there, while I took you to be my guide. Unfortunately by that time you were fast asleep, and I did not want to wake you to tell you what we had decided... Is there anything else that you would like to know?"

1. This explanation succeeded in reassuring Baltisco to some extent. The sorceress said that she needed his help, so seemed unlikely to do anything terrible to him for the time being.
