“No!” said Fogeno, not unlike a two year-old gripped by a sudden and
impulsive rebellious streak. That was his first mistake. When it came to
arguing a point like a spoiled little toddler, you see, Robert was a
master. “Yes!” was his obvious reply. “No!” countered the seacaptain.“Yes!” The captain paused for a moment and mulled over the landlubber’s barrage of counterintuitive brilliance. This took every briny ounce of brainpower in that crusty little noggin of his. In the end it nearly pushed him over the ‘mental plank’, as it were, and into the shark infested sea of defeat, so to speak. “No!” came his somehow barnacle-laden retort.“Yes!” “No!”“Yes!” “SHUT UP!!!!!!!”Both men turned to Astra with indignance on their vile though nicely bronzed faces. That oppressive tropical sun had it’s good points, I suppose. As long as you didn’t stare at it directly, that is. “Now, Astra,” said Robert. “You know it’s rude to interrupt your betters. Arrrrrr. Sorry.” Once that was cleared up.... “Spelling errors aside,” the princess continued. “Use that next wish wisely, on something at least mutually beneficial. You might even consider sobering up first. Fair enough compromise?” “I am so confused right now,” bumbled Bob.“‘Sober up’?” the captain baffled. “Not sure what that means. I have two modes: drunk and hung over. Usually I’m somewhere in-between.” “Well, your proposition seemed fair enough. Giving the hotties their sea legs might not be such a bad idea. As long as you can get me off this horrid island. And not try to sell me into slavery. I can get used to the ass. I think i might even like it.”“Ye’d fetch a nice price, but I suppose I could accept those terms.” And with that, he gave her a hearty slap on the aforementioned ass. Astra, just as quickly, returned the gesture. The angry red hand print on his face didn’t clear up for hours. “It was worth it,” he surmised. Next morning...
