Lost in Time

"OK," said Kyllian. He pushed a button on the strange bracelet he was wearing, and a swirling whirlpool of light burst into being in front of him. "You go first, because it will automatically turn off when I enter it."

Holding his breath, Fred jumped into the whirlpool of light. He did not feel as if he were moving, but rather as if his innards were jostling around. He heard many strange noises, including one that sounded like Kyllian laughing.

Then, reality seemed to stabilize around him. Fred saw that he was alone. He'd been tricked! He didn't even have a brother called Kyllian!

1. Fred was in a vast and empty desert.
2. Fred was in a desolate abandoned city.
3. Fred was inside Hollow Earth.
