"Someone even more powerful?" yelled Velus. "But you said only the Wizard of Kamiro was powerful enough!"

"I didn't say it, it was the dragon. Obviously, he's been alone too long, or he would've heard of the even more powerful Belboz the Necromancer."

"Who?"

"Oh, sorry. I thought for a moment you were Aquilarian. Belboz is well- known where I live. He trades in magic, you see, 'helping' people who come to him."

"Trades? What does he trade for? I don't have any money. I was a dog just days ago, in case you have forgotten!"

"What he charges and in what medium, is his call. All you need to do is find him."

"But that could take ages! Isn't there another way?"

"Well, you could go back to the Wizard of Kamiro, but he's already failed us once so that option doesn't look very promising. You could also slay the dragon, for this curse is his, and..."

"No!" said Velus, a little louder than he had intended. "I mean, no. I'll find this beetle juice..."

"Belboz!"

"Whatever!"

"Do you honestly think he's going to help us if you get his name wrong?"

"Alright. Belboz. I prefer the idea of staying some distance away from the dragon, even if I have to make another four-week trip. Where can I find him?"

"He's not far, it's said he lives in these very caves; near the entrance in fact."

"But I've never seen... Wait, is this a crazy old geezer who reads a book by the light of a floating orb?"

"That sounds like him."

"Oh, I know the guy. Never much onto anything. Peed on him once, and he didn't even notice."

"Well, if you don't think he can help..."

"No! No dragon! I'll find him!" For good measure, Velus grabbed Fred's sword and started running back towards the entrance. He stopped, turned, and came towards Fred.

"Er, you wouldn't be able to lend me your armor as well, would you?"

"Why? So we can be two naked people on the wall?"

"Just wondering! Sheesh!" He left without another word.

"Why didn't you tell him Necromancing was dark magic?" asked Fred when Velus was out of earshot.

"He's obviously scared of the dragon's magic;" explained Astra, "I didn't want to scare him away."

There was a silence, which Fred Broke.

"Astra?"

"Yes?"

"How long do you think it'll take him?"

"Oh, about a day."
