Epilog

Fred's body was found in the town river. Surprisingly, when they examined it, it was not the body of a vampire but that of a human.

At the funeral service, the body was placed in a coffin. Everyone was there. The king and his daughter. Astra and Alicia and Andrea. Kyllian and Velus. Sir Time_Warrior, who had generated a new avatar. Sir Josh, Sir Pikachu, Sir Paulito, and Sir Toby, who had all returned from the dead when Time Warrior explained to them that they could generate new avatars. Even you were there, although you had previously been killed by Fred-Vampire. (you had been ressurected by a freak temporal accident.)

For the funeral, Kyllian was asked to give the speech. "Okay," said Kyllian, "I'll keep this short and sweet. He was a hero. Even when he became a vampire, he didn't lose that. No one is beyond redemption." He spoke about Fred's heroic deeds, about how he became an evil vampire, and about how he was ultimately redeemed.

"That was great, Kyllian," said Andrea after it was over. "There wasn't a dry eye in the house."

"So where do we go from here?" asked Kyllian.

Andrea wondered: where, indeed, do they go from here? She had come to quite like Kyllian, maybe even view him as a friend. "Well, someone has to kill the dragon now. Why don't we do it together? We balance each other out very well."

"I like that

1. So Kyllian and Andrea went in quest of the dragon.
2. Kyllian had realized that he had accidentally dropped his dagger in Fred's coffin and went to get it.
