Fred, with some reluctance, nodded to the princess. He had no choice but to believe her, after all. But what did 'no weaknesses' give him to go on? Even if she was the king's daughter, the princess would, all too clearly, do anything to get what she wanted. He couldn't trust her. Could he? He had no time to make up his mind; the dragon - wizard - whatever, with a roar that knocked several innocent sparrows out of the sky, raced toward him on limbs which glinted in the sunlight, seeming to toss sparks through the air. Fred rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the attack. "Huh," the dragon snorted. "Pitiful. You can dodge me for as long as you want, but you can't dodge forever." Tensing his muscles, the wizard - or was it dragon? - darted toward Fred once more.
