The Never Ending Quest - Episode 8880

Suddenly, a bright flash of light burst through the room. From it emerged
a man. He was radiating light, and looked like a god. But the strange
thing was, he also looked a lot like Time Warrior. "I am Time Warrior,"
said the man. "You have become unsuitable as an avatar. You must die."
"What does he mean?" asked Andrea. "Well," Andrea's Time Warrior explained, "that being is a member of a class of beings that control reality. By analogy, think of reality as a continuing story written by many people. And these are the Authors. That being is a relatively new author. I accidentally killed his physical avatar, and was forced to take the role. I was sent here because a number of Authors took up the quest to destroy the Dragon, and all were killed. I had to find out what had killed them and stop it." He turned to adress the godlike Time_Warrior. "Why am I unsiutable?" he asked. "Because you have developed a romantic passion independnent from my wishes. You have become independent of me. Now, I must kill you!" "But what about the quest to stop the Vampires," said the avatar Time Warrior. "A new avatar can be generated," said the Godlike Time_Warrior. "So why don't you just create a new one and free me to become myself?" said Time Warrior. "Hmmm...never thought of it that way. OK. But first you must kill Varney the Vampire," responded Time_Warrior. The avatar felt a tingle in his flesh, as he became independant... He collapsed to the ground.
