The Never Ending Quest - Episode 88651

"Fred!" she thought, excited. "Wait a minute, how do I even know his name is Fred? I have a feeling he's going to do something very stupid at any moment and I'm going to want to beat the stuffing out of him... like he's an accident waiting to happen."

She stopped, for Fred had started walking more slowly. Velus had run ahead of them both and was calling back to Fred. Apparently he was leading Fred past her, but Fred could do nothing better but oogle her. She watched nervously as his eyes darted from her hair, to her muscular biceps, to her breasts.

A whirlwind of thoughts and emotions filled her in an instant. On the one hand, what was wrong with this man? Had he come all this way only to stare at her in her misery? If he was following Velus, why didn't he just get on with it? It was infuriating!

On the other hand, she remembered the men from her warrior kingdom. Men always liked girls, to gaze upon them, to oogle them. Why did men have to be like this? It was exasperating!

On yet another hand, did he want anything from her, other than to oogle her? Was he going to kidnap her away from her kidnapper? Was he going to sacrifice her to some bloodthirsty god? Or was he only going to sacrifice her to his desires? It was making her nervous!

On yet another hand, this could be her only chance of being unchained. Should she use it? Could she trust him? Especially with that nagging feeling that he was an accident waiting to happen? How could she possibly be feeling hope and despair together?

And somehow, she knew that if he freed him, he would respect her, relatively. He would not spend the whole time staring at her, nor making comments about her lack of clothes. He would, yes, make many annoying comments, but wouldn't delve to deeply on her lack of clothes.

And on yet another hand, there was a nagging feeling that if she was mean to him something very bad could happen in a very distant future. What was this feeling? What did it have to do with her knowing Fred's name?

And lastly, how many hands did she have? How many times had she thought "on the other hand" or something related? How many emotions could a girl like her feel together? This was getting ridiculous, and the man she was referring to as "Fred" was staring to leave.

She could not waste the chance. She called out to him:

  1. "Hey, stop staring at me, you creep!"
  2. "Don't just stand there! Unchain me!"
  3. "Hello, good knight. It appears you are lost."
