Doing the wrong spell always requires incurring in pop cultre references

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 88523

Astra cleared her throat, and then announced, "Salagadoola, mechicka boola, bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"

"Is that all?" cried out Fred. "You don't look any different, unless your new clothes are see-through."

"I don't feel any different," she said, looking at her arms, and totally missing the irony of Fred's comment. "Unless it's clothing that can only be seen by highly intelligent people competently performing their jobs? Great Belboz, how do we know the spell has worked?"

"We should see its effects," he said mockingly, "there's no 'your magic has been performed correctly' message in necromancing."

Just then they hard a loud cracking coming from one of the stalls.

"Astra," asked Fred, "did you do that?"

"I... I don't know."

"It looks like it's going to blow! Find shelter!"

The particular stall shortly broke, and they realized it was filled with pumpkins, one of which was increasing in size violently.

"Unbeleivable," said Fred, forgetting his search for a bomb shelter.

When it became as big as its original stall, it exploded, leaving only a rather large puddle of pumpkin guts.

"Well, that was productive," mocked Fred. "especially having been done by someone who is so worried about wasting time."

Astra ignored him. "At least we're clean," she commented. She looked back at the book to see what she had done wrong. "Oh, look, there's some three verses to control the pumpkin spell. And apparently, it has nothing to do with getting me clothed!"

  1. Astra noticed there was another part of the spell that didn't involve pumpkins
  2. Astra decided to try again until she got the pumpkin spell right; a good set of wheels should prove useful
  3. Before Astra could try anything else, Belboz snatched the book back
