Directly To Slay The Dragon

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 88370

Fred leaves the maiden where she is and goes directly to slay the dragon. Fortunately he stumbles across a gnome he was able to smack around for directions. He finds the dragon munching on other gnomes for a mid-morning snack. He observes from a tapestry hanging balcony thirty feet from the floor. He and Velus are hiding behind a tapestry draped over the actual balcony and part of the access ladder. It is musty and moldy and apparently home to several flies, spiders and rats with more heads then they should have . Gross.
Anyway, the dragon is crunching away.

  1. Study it's movements and develop a plan.
  2. Charge in blindly, screaming and stabbing.
  3. Cause a distraction. Go back and get that gnome he left knocked-out by the spring.
  4. Velus accidentally lets out a tiny fart. The dragon whips around.
  5. The maiden walks by, free of her bonds. The wizard follows four seconds later.
  6. Fred falls asleep in his hiding spot.
