Stacy had killed the rat and was just about to start the dissection, when the door of the lab opened, and a distinguished-looking middle-aged man with greying hair walked in. "I saw the light was on, and wondered who'd be in the lab at this time of day," he began, then broke off as his gaze took in Stacy and her co-conspirators.

  1. "Stacy!" he exclaimd. "It's good to see my favourite student again. What brings you back to your old stamping ground?"
  2. "Who the hell are you, and what are you doing in my lab?" he asked.
