"Well, come on!" said the Doctor grumpily, pulling at his lapels in a huff. "We're going left." "Why are you so sure that's the right way?" asked Fred, picking his way gingerly through the gunk and really, really wishing he hadn't worn his favourite shoes today. "Very scientific deduction." said the Doctor. "I carefully considered factors such as wind vectors, the city's layout, typical sewage drainage measures...and then said to hell with it and did eeny-meeny-miny-moe. Come along!" They worked their way further into the sewers, and now Fred was becoming more and more convinced they had gone the wrong way, because the flourescent slime on the walls was becoming scarcer the further they went. It was now almost impossible to see. "Too bad I don't have a lantern," Fred muttered to himself. "If this keeps up, I'm likely to be eaten by a grue."
