Yes, probably be the best thing for all of us . . .all considered. We are strangers here, and not exactly welcome ones, really. The Emperor of Mankind “And that is why I respect them,” Warmaster Horus finished up verbally, rounding out what he had supplied me mentally via psionically. And I find . . .I trust this Horus though he’s not MY Horus. It’s rather . . .difficult to explain to a non-Pysker why I do trust him. Just say I have taken a measure of him, mind to mind and find him trustworthy. I dare say he’s . . . I see what my Horus could have been. SHOULD have been. Where had I gone wrong with my boy. With the Imperium so long ago… Oh get off moping and get back to you duty James! . . . I don’t know what exactly to make of it all, really. I mean, I never really got into a lot of the entertainment for the masses that went about during the 20th and 21rst century, really. Especially the “kiddie show” variety of it, really. All of it struck me as being . . .well . . .more than a bit too low brow for my tastes really. Rather mourned the sad state of affairs of Western culture and world culture after the 18th century, really. Bacharach and the pursuing the fairer sex had been more my style, really, for leisure time. That and the occasional vodka marine. Shaken, not stirred. Oh, and staying abreast on current things like science and other minutia…rather never fancy being caught flat footed during conversations between myself and my superiors back during my 007 years, really. Must wonder . . .did they ever make movies of that period of time of my life? We all know for certain that they made a game of THIS time of my life, thank YOU. Would be a “blockbuster” I am sure… Still, that aside and that display of vanity, one has to wonder about THIS latest turn of events. I mean I have some VERY important things to do here real soon. Vitally important things to do, but still one has to wonder! It is so very Strange to think that we have living, breathing versions of something from a bunch of Japanese cartoons. Would be VERY interesting to see how much the imaginary show synched up with (and differed from) the real thing, I will wager! Bet you that however it was laid out in the storyboards they did not approach it in a “40K” manner, as it were, those bowdlerized tales of what these young warriors have gone through! Warriors ARE what they are, in the final analysis. In one manner the numbers involved in their battles is . . .small. Pidely even compared to the amount of blood and tears spilt for the Imperium . . .in my name. Sigh, no. That is going to be one of MANY things that I shall Personally see to here in a moment after I get through with these . . .Champions. Mostly done with all the OTHER questions I had before now (and sure can safely say I take them MUCH more seriously and respectfully than I had just moments earlier). Still have to handle the very needful things of putting the Imperium to right and all that here soon enough (understatement of the 40th Millennium), but there remains one thing to ask. Ask because these Champions seem to not be inclined on just blurt out anything about this Prophecy that I have come to believe could well help me bring the Imperium back to right… Perhaps they might even know SOME reason why the Chaos Gods are decidely absent from the Warp? You never know until you ask, eh? Might prove to be . . .useful if that ilk should ever arise again, to know how to repeat that "miracle"....
“Your Imperial Majesty,” Rei says slowly, looking up at the gargantuan figure of a man before her. “If any of us knew of a prophecy, it would be news to me.” “And if it came from scrolls anywhere from the Dead Sea I dare say we’ll be leaving now--Sharpishly may I add-- for the good of the Imperium,” Setsuna adds from the side. “Dare say that I and the others don’t wish to partake in people turning into pools of orange fluid that looks suspiciously like a drink called Tang . . .” “Dearie, then I dare say you’d be quiet correct!” a woman’s voice rings out, her Cocky accent quiet evident.
