Dazed and Reaibned

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 86887

Reaibn suffers an allergic reaction to whatever the hell Scott had been obsessed with eating and farting out lately. He gets a slightly clogged nose and a scratchy uvula. Panicking for no clear reason, Reaibn decides he should get some fresh air. He notices the Staircase Room's lone window. Instead of actually opening the thing he sets off the carefully prepared C4 charges built into the wall. The entire side of the Room blows out into the thick fog.
Reaibn enjoys the fresh air while Scott and Josh continue watching some old guy eat something disgusting. The fog rolls in. Several dozen of the more annoyingly stupid issues of Reader's Digest visibly wilt in the humidity.

  1. Anyway.
  2. Something ancient and horrible and with too many angles passes by in the fog. Up. And down. At the same time.
  3. Wait, that part about Reaibn destroying the wall instead of opening the window made little sense.
  4. So why are the Reader's Digest issues annoying? Besides the obvious.
