Astra decided that the burial of Robert could be left to the staff who
had been created along with the palace. She had more important things on
her mind. It was high time that she went back outside to check on how
near to the island the slaver ship had sailed by now and on how Fred and
Alexis were faring. Besotted with Robert as they both were, it would be
better not to tell them that she had killed Robert. Perhaps she could
claim that he had had a heart attack.
Lost in thought as she was, it did not occur to her to change her clothes - not that the other items that had been provided for her in her room's wardrobe would have been much better than the panties, nightie and slippers that she was wearing. Astra encountered no servants on the way out. Well they'll find his body soon enough, she told herself. Outside the palace, she ran into:
