The Master whirled around, quickly pointing his gun at the Doctor -- who, along with the other Betty, was indeed standing directly behind him. "All right, Doctor, enough games! We are going back to your TARDIS, you are going to deactivate the jamming signal, and then I am going to take great pleasure in killing you all!"

"Now, really," said the Doctor. "You shouldn't get yourself worked up into such a state, you know. It's bad for the hearts." He very deliberately avoided looking at Stacy, who was creeping up behind the Master, a large wrench in her hand and a very annoyed look in her eye.

  1. The wrench came down on the back of his head with a very satisfying thud.
  2. But the Master must have heard her, for he spun around just in time.
