The Never Ending Quest - Episode 86327

Hawkeye is holed up in an old SHIELD safehouse disguised as an abandoned Tampa Bay beer shipping factory. With him are heroes he knows from Avengers files.
Danielle Moonstar. Has extensive Asgardian experience and friends. Good to know. They might need that if things get worse. Speedball was next. Always hard to get a handle on the blue and yellow weirdo. But he knew could bounce hard and hit his targets. Hawkeye knew how to use that.
Cannonball was a farmboy from Kentucky. Friend of Danielle. Fired up he was invulnerable. A human rocket. Also friends with Asgardians. Good if they could GET there. Squirrel Girl was an oddity. Iron Man had said she gave Doom a hard time. Was literally half squirrel, with great strength and durability. A teenage brick. Great. There was a Peter Wisdom, a government spook from England. Hawkeye didn't like the guy on principle but the man's ability to manifest boiling hot heat knives could come in handy. And last ... and definitely least, was Captain Ultra. Flight, super strength, durability, the whole package. And a crippling fear of fire. A lit match makes him faint. Absolutely useless.
Now what?

  1. Cannonball has a plan.
  2. Turns out Squirrel Girl could -talk- to squirrels and they had spotted Josh going after War Machine.
  3. Cannonball and Danielle wanted to get to the rest of their team, one of which could get them to Asgard.
  4. Peter Wisdom had a brainwashing trick to overcome Ultra's fear of fire.
  5. Nick Fury shows up on a hidden screen, having gotten some info on Josh's insane ally, Scott Chen.
