The wizard looked down at Fred and Velus from his invisible
floating throne and
his face grew cold and angry. "So, the fair princess Astra has become a
chained captive of
the vile Dragon, has she?" Fred and Velus bobbed their heads up and down
in answer.
"And you," the wizard said, pointing a Velus, "little puppy, you are
a victim of that
wyrm's sorcery as well?" Velus barked twice, although he didn't quite
appreciate being
called little puppy. The wizard pondered for a moment. "So then that
leaves only I,
Nomino, to thwart the evil schemes of the malefic dragon and save
the peoples of
the land from death, destruction and the dominion of that scaly beast."
Fred raised his hand meekly. "Yes?" the wizard asked. "Well...I was going to help," Fred suggested. "SILENCE!" Nomino bellowed. "Your punyness embarrasses me! If you were capable of saving your Kingdom on your own then you would never have come here to me!" "Well, actually," Fred mumbled. "SPEAK UP," Nomino told Fred. "What I mean is that I don't think I need your help in killing the Dragon, I just want you to free the princess from her magical chains." Nomino stared down at Fred with disdain. And then he began to laugh. "You? Kill the Dragon all by your little self? Don't make me laugh. Oh, wait. Too late!" HaHaHaHa! "Why, you can't even do this." The Wizard of Kamiro raised his arms, pointed the index finger of his right hand and the pinky of his left at Velus and shouted, "Charzar!" The little dog disappeared in a puff of violet smoke and when the smoke dispersed the doggy was gone. In his place stood Velus, restored to his sandy haired, freckled face farmboy self. "WooHoo!" Velus cried out in joy. Fred was terribly impressed, but he still felt this guy was a bit overbearing. "Now take me to the princess," Nomino commanded.
