The three women did not recongize the man standing near the door pointing a
flashlight at them, but the man definitely recognized Stacy. His eyes
widened when he saw her and the expression on his face grew angry. "What
are you doing here?" he whispered in amazement.
"You--you know me?" Stacy asked, kind of hoping this man in fact didn't know her. Even half-way across the room Stacy could feel a burning animosity directed at her. But who was he? And why did Stacy's presence anger him so? The man laughed at her question. "So you don't remember after all. I had assumed that you had somehow overcome the mental blocks I placed in your mind. How else could you have returned here. But though I wasn't completely successful I see that I wasn't completely unsuccessful either. Well, your questions don't concern me. My only care is that the Master's little plan proceeds on schedule. And with that in mind, would you all please step back to the wall with your hands up." The stranger produced a gun and pointed it at them.
