Using the Ring of Invisibility, Fred was able to make it all the way to the
Dragon's lair, slay the dragon, and make it back out again unnoticed.
Somehow this left Fred feeling disappointed, but he didn't know why. He
had, after all, saved the kingdom from the terrifying dragon. Maybe, he
thought, it was because it was too easy. It wasn't the adventure he was
hoping for. That all changed, however, when he arrived back at the castle. "Fred," began the king. "Because of your bravery and daring-do, I offer you my daughter's hand in marriage." Fred found marriage to be the greatest, and hardest, adventure he had ever been on. He had three kids, two girls and one boy, and lived happily ever after. His children, hoping to follow in his footsteps, became adventurers themselves.
