All Hallows Eve at the Hellmouth?

“It’s Halloween?” Setsuna blinks. “But it wasn’t that when I brought this world to HERE!”

It had been something like in the middle of summer, we’d been told. Things just changed without notice, I see. Welcome to Sunnydale, guys and gals!!

"Do things like that usually happen like that here?" Prince Endymion asked both his wife and the Rei sisters. "That was rather unsettling!"

"Ya think?" I see Rei muttering to herself. At least I believe that is what I read on her lips. She did it too softly to be heard. However, I can definitely say I saw she rolling her eyes softly before quickly composing herself there. Wouldn’t do to antagonize the royal here, right? Poor guy’s just a bit rattled about everything shifting and changing around us, that’s all.

Honestly? It did rather rattle me and my sisters as well. It is just that I and my sisters have been better able to hide our disconcertment. Honestly, did we even think that this would have been a boring and mundane Quest? Honestly, I can think of a few (dozen) kinds of things and entities which could have caused such a change in scenery that I and my sisters saw in the show and movies dedicated to “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

Oh my, did I enjoy that work of fiction that Betty and Ragan introduced to us back upon Terra Prime. But as enjoyable as that had been we DID learn not to take the reality of a “Buffy” world lightly, even IF the show had a bit of comedy to it!

Heavens, even a relatively ordinary word beginning with “W” can cause all sorts of havoc and headaches if the wrong kind of powerful (and mischievous) entity is listening.

God only knows what trouble we'll have if I and my sisters don't at least reactivate our disguise spell broaches to make our true appearances less . . .realistic. Even the Sunnydale syndrome of the locals seeming unable to see the eldritch happenings around them (or at least going into deep denial about it), our angellic wings are a little TOO real right now to not be seen as anything BUT actually as living tissue. And not some really GOOD costume!

If we've landed in a place where our true forms got blown like just now, might as well go with it the best we can! Oh, and say we're going to a costume party or something Halloween related, right?

But back to changes in scenery like what just happened! >There was an entire Buffy episode about how Sunnydale’s reality got temporarily rearranged due to a “wish” granted!

Indeed, I would not be surprised if we Champions should be VERY careful with voicing our wishes aloud, thank YOU!

“I guess we’ll all find out what a Halloween is like in Sunnydale,” I sigh. “Best be off to get a room for our home base of operation quickly and then get to it before the vampires come out and make a mess of things. Goodness knows that tonight is probably a VERY special night for them!”

“Actually tonight is one they usually just stay in,” Setsuna says, looking at me and my sisters oddly. “Didn’t you see the Halloween episode with Ethan and those costumes?”
