Thank you Charlie

As Alfred and Susan glowed in their intense embrace they were unaware that Charlie had returned early and was now standing in the doorway with a satisfied smile on his face. While it was true that he had initially made Susan as his own youthful fantasy Charlie had come to realise that he could never have her.

As an alternative solution this was just fine as he was becoming increasingly certain that he would never find a way of returning Fred to his old self. If Susan now found herself a handsome lover then perhaps she would forgive what he had done to her former form and find happiness with her man.

Charlie decided to let nature take it's course and left the entwined pair to get on with whatever was about to happen.
