Charlie proposed "fish and chips" and "pizza," but, due to these being anachronistic for their fantasy medieval time period, they were summarily rejected by the universe itself, and the more historically ambiguous "restaurant" was selected. The two found themselves at a lovely inn by the sea, where they were seated quickly. The one male server was very attentive to Susan's needs, and she smiled continually at this, though it was also strange; she'd had little to no contact with anyone but Charlie since being trapped in this body, and indeed it had seemed undesirable to go out to meet new people. But lately, for some reason, the prospect had become more and more appealing. Charlie, however, still wanted Susan to be his, so he tried mightily to distract her from the server, talking at length of his potion-related endeavors in an effort to make himself appear intelligent and sophisticated. It seemed a better opportunity to woo her than he'd ever had before; she'd agreed to free time, and they'd come here to relax. If there were ever a time her former life might not be a distraction, it was now.
