Jingle bells?

Just then he spotted a familiar red coat trimmed with white fur. Immediately Fred recognised a Santa suit hanging there.

Unfortunately when he took it from the hanger he realised that the outfit was a little less conventional than he originally thought. Instead of being the outfit for a jolly bearded gentleman he found that it was a costume more suited to the form he was currently forced to inhabit.

He felt frustrated . . .

1. but decided to put it on anyway
2. and placed the outfit back on the rail
3. and tore the outfit to pieces
