faster then she thought possible. "REVERSE THE MAGIC NOW!" She grabs ahold
of Alfred's neck and shakes him like a rented mule. "I know the rules of
magic! A wish can be reversed at great and powerful misfortune to the
granter and I swear, I will cause you much more pain..."

Alfred had finally slipped into senillity. Even if there was a way to reverse it, he was spouting gibberish now.

Alfred gives up ever existing, in the past or present, to make the kids real.

Alfred -becomes- one of the kids in order to make the rest real.

Seems the coconut was evil. Alfred is dragged into hell, Velus and Astra see or remember no sign of any kids; they just know Alfred was lost to dark magic.

Messing with Maternal Magic makes Aphrodite mad. She appears. She can't rescue the trio but can make the babies real if Astra sings to her and spreads her message -if- they get home.
