Betty Saves the World!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 8163

Red-Haired Betty heaved mightily on the master switch. Instantly, the electronic hum that had previously filled the room cut off, and all the lights in the building went out. They could still see by the fading light coming in by the room's small windows, but only dimly, as dusk had begun to fall.

The Betty still standing by the switch let out a joyful whoop. "I did it! I did it! I saved the entire planet!" Stacy found herself grinning madly, as Melissa and the other Betty exchanged high-fives and the Doctor stood there with a satisfied smile on his face.

Then something happened that surprised them all.

  1. Another hypnotized employee appeared behind red-haired Betty and thwacked her over the head.
  2. There was a strange wheezing sort of noise, and a rack of electronic equipment appeared where there hadn't been one before.
  3. The power came back on.
