imagine she wasn't exactly you." Astra had an idea where this was going but let the orange-furred cat-girl go on. "This other Astra was aware of events that was going to happen in your future. Since she was aware of the future and thus, the coming clampdown on nudity, she and her companions must have had a way to escape from the authorities." "But...it didn't work. I was captured." "Well, that's part two." "Two?" "New visitors to the mall are supposed to be told about Anti-Parrellel Universe efforts. There's a probability scattering field to prevent people from capitalizing on past knowledge. It doesn't stop past-travel, just decreases its success by ninety-five percent. It was sabotaged, allowing the prudes to gain power over the entire mall. Hackers deleted the information about the field from all introductory materials. Or so I suppose, as you have all these questions. You two Astras, goes my theory, were swept up in alternate timeline attempts without knowing that the Mall authorities, the ex-authorities, frown on that. Of course, this is all supposition and guessing. But frankly, I'm surprised nobody tried to take over the mall earlier." Astra sighed. "Maybe this is the 'earlier' attempt." Fawn leander against the wall. "Good lord. You may be right. My head hurts." "I'm sorry, did the policemen hurt you?" "No, it is the thinking of time travel. Besides, us cat-girls are more resilent then humans, it takes a lot to damage us." Astra pondered the few cats she knew. Puddles, one she had as a kid, used to slip down to the capital city castle's unused dungeons and sleep in one of the security cells...the bars, of course, for the cell were practically open doors for a cat but Puddles DID slip through a tiny gap under a maintenince door in order to reach the nearly-forgetten level. "Fawn!" said Astra excitedly. "If you're half-cat and all that, can you slip through the bars?"
