The Power of Prayer

"...this we pray in Your name, Lord."

Bill Murray pauses. "Well, has everything gotten better over there?"

Sara looks around. Josh is lumbering around outside, grazing in the flower bed. A squirrel wanders too close to his gullet and is sucked in.

"Ummm..no. Everything's pretty much the same." Suddenly the phone booth is rattled by what feels like thunder, accompanied by a foul smell of brimstone.

"EXCUSE ME!" Josh yells.

"In fact, everything's EXACTLY the same," she says.

"Okaaaay...Jasper's back to life though, right? Does Josh look any smaller?"

"No, and no."

Bill Murray is silent for a second. "Well...huh...okay..."

1. "The problem is that you aren't believing hard enough, " says Murray. He tries again.
2. Bill Murray tries a prayer to Cthulhu next.
3. "YOU DESERVE THIS, YOU BITCH!' he screams, and hangs up.
4. The FSM delivers.
5. The Fightin' Jesus appears.
6. Bill Murray calls the Pope for advice.
