"OK," L.E. replied, "but only if you kiss me first." He
grinned mischievously at her. The
showgirl was anything but demure and so without a hint of hesitation she
moved in to kiss L.E. on the
lips. For some reason this made Josh very jealous and before L.E. could
lock lips with the gorgeous red
head, Josh the Bunny jumped up from his open cage and slammed into the side
of L.E.'s face. L.E. fell to
the floor like a ton of bricks. Amanda shrieked at the sudden and
unexpected attack, but when she
looked down at the woozy L.E. and then at the furry white bunny rabbit
sitting next to him she couldn't
help but begin to giggle.
L.E. on the other hand was not as amused. "Why you little--" he yelled and grabbed for Josh. But Josh scampered away on his little bunny legs before his friend could nab him. Not easily discouraged, L.E. got up from the cold stone ground of the cave and gave chase. Not wishing to be left behind, all alone in the creepy Dragon caves, Amanda ran after them. After a frantic chase through dim and shadowy corridors and rocky subterrene pathways, L.E. finally managed to catch up to the madly hopping white bunny. Josh bounded around a corner, barely ahead of his pursuer and desperately seeking for some way to get L.E. off his tail. Luckily a large red curtain just happened to be hanging against the wall up ahead. It would make the perfect hiding place for him. L.E. would probably run right past it and by the time he turned around, Josh would be hightailing it in the opposite direction. And so, with a triumphant twitch of his pink bunny nose, Josh scampered behind the red curtain just as L.E. came running round the corner. And guess what, Josh was right. L.E. didn't even bother to glance at the red curtain and just kept on running. But Josh had forgotten to take into account Amanda. The showgirl was tired of running and so when she entered the hallway and saw L.E. streaking away from her at its far end, she decided to catch her breath and have a rest. Her feet hurt and she wanted to take her shoes off. With one hand she reached down to loosen the straps of her shoes, while with her other hand she leaned over to the wall to brace herself. Unfortunately, it was the wall with the red curtain. L.E., who had been running down the cave passage all this time, slowed down to catch his breath. He couldn't figure out how Josh had managed to escape him. And then he heard a scream. He turned back the way he had come and ran like the wind. That scream had come from Amanda, and that could only mean trouble. L.E. just hoped it wasn't the Dragon. CD-ROM game or not, he didn't feel like getting his butt kicked today and that's what usually happened when you messed around with dragons. But when L.E. reached Amanda, no dragon was in sight. Instead, he found the showgirl and Josh the bunny thrashing around on the ground, wrapped up in the red curtain. The red curtain which, since it was now on the ground, was no longer keeping hidden a strange and sequined doorway. Ignoring his two friends, L.E. turned the knob of the door and opened it. "My oh my," he gasped, "I think we've found the way home." Amanda looked up at him, "Home?"
