Freeze-Drying

"My God," they breathe together.

The cold-case is full of freeze-dried people, all of them shriveled and gray. Each of them is wearing a silver jumpsuit, with a label on the chest. Jasper leans closer to read the label on one particularly shriveled specimen.

"'EZ-Freeze People of Ontario, Canada. Directions: remove pull tab from protective wrapping and add water. Product will expand to normal adult size at room temperature. See insert on back of label for proper usage instructions." He stops for a moment. "You know, I think these people are alive."

"They're like flash-frozen humanoid raisins. I don't imagine how anyone could survive that," says Sara.

The only way we're going to find out is by thawing out one and dropping it in water," he said. He started trying to wrestle the shriveled body out. "Come on, help me get some of these guys out of here."

1. They pull the tab, unwrap the guy and soak him in the bathtub in the bathroom behind the office. What happens?
2. Unfortunately, the first guy they thaw out is the world's most obnoxious shock-humor comedian. And they only get worse from there. Much worse.
3. They thaw out the people and put them to work. Sara declares herself Queen of the Freezerburned.
4. Behind the people they find packs of freeze-dried ferrets next.
5. The first two people they thaw out are...Sara and Jasper?!?
6. The guy cockpunches Jasper for waking him up.
