Much like the howling wilderness that is Josh's soul, the glove box is empty, except for some dust and a wheat penny. Josh pockets the wheat penny, because he notices that it's a double-stamped coin, so it's probably worth something to the right collector. He stares blankly into the glove box for nearly an hour. Then he closes it and starts rummaging under the seats. Beneath the passenger seat, he finds a few more coins, a receipt from a Wal-Mart, a few odd-looking seeds and a bottle of de-icer. He absently eats the receipt and the seeds, and begins tearing the upholstery up just in case there was anything in them. After all, his parents had always stored their most precious belongings inside of the furniture.
