The Never Ending Quest - Episode 79158

Fred had felt that a simulated fight with the bread knives was too dangerous. Though it was unlikely that anything would go badly wrong, if it did then it could lead to one of them bleeding to death. With hand-to-hand combat, if things went awry then the resulting injury would almost certainly be relatively minor.

Astra sighed inwardly. Fred's choice of unarmed combat was the one that was likely to result in their total nudity soonest, as it would involve the greatest amount of exertion. But as the challenger she could hardly turn down his choice of "weapon". Or could she?

  1. "Very well, hand-to-hand combat it is," she said.
  2. "Hand-to-hand combat doesn't involve a weapon," she objected.
  3. "Where's the weapon," she objected. "Under the rules governing duels, his choice was valid and you must abide by it," the lord said. Was he taking this mock duel seriously? Or was he just looking forward to seeing a naked man ans a naked woman wrestle?
