In the midst of making his escape, Joker suddenly notices your babbling. "Whoah..." he breathes, after listening for half a minute. He finds himself mesmerized by the sheer insanity of the torrent of gibberish pouring from your mouth, words and phrases that sound as if they ought to mean something, yet make no sense when put together into a coherent form. In fact, he's so mesmerized that he doesn't notice the man who incapacitates him. Owing to a certain degree of editorial dyslexia, the man who disables him is actually an extremely lost and confused Al Roker, the marshal of the annual Gotham New Years Parade, who clubs him repeatedly with a surprisingly heavy electric razor. As soon as he realizes the magnitude of what's he's done, and is made aware of the extremely long and vicious vendettas the Joker tends to carry out on people who balk him in any way, he decides to change his name and live under an assumed identity in Austria, LA, a small town about thirty miles north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with the FBI's assistance and Batman's most eloquent thanks.
