Chopped Liver

Suddenly the window behind him shatters. Decaying arms reach through and grab Qrygg before he can get away and drag him outside.

He screams as hands dig into his abdomen and tear away chunks of flesh (one of which is, indeed, his liver). His screaming stops only when they pull off his head. Zombies fall on his remains, ripping and tearing each other to shreds in their haste to get to fresh meat.

The survivors grab one of the last remaining tables and hastily board the window up. Afterwards, they sit around trying to catch their breaths for several minutes.

Dan Danger finally breaks the uncomfortable silence. "So...uh, what's going on here?"

1. "Undead plague, civilization wrecked, wholesale carnage, the living envying the dead, dogs and cats living together. The usual, What about you?" Sara says,
2. "Can your cardboard box go anywhere else?" she asks.
3. With a wheezing thump, an old-style British police call box appears. A short, slight man with brown hair and sneakers and an attractive black girl in a leather jacket step out.
4. "BLOOOOOOOOOD" Sara rips his head off and bathes in the fountaining stream.
