And so the merry band of morons find themselves deposited smack dab in the
middle of 1976. Back then the Hardees was nowhere to be found, and so they
end up in a vacant, weedy lot where local high school kids go to have
unprotected sex (this was in an age when condoms were considered exotic
rubber sex-ruining devices, AIDS hadn’t yet been introduced into the black
population by the evil White Man, and abstinence was something only dead
people and very old nuns practiced). It’s a muggy summer evening, and the mosquitos of yore are out in force. Or were out in force. Dan is the only one who looks excited at their new, albeit dull surroundings. “YES! 1976 at last!”Seeker shrugs. “Good as any other time, I guess. The cocaine should be cheap, at least.” And don't forget the Disco!
