"Hey, it looks like it fits!" In the spirit of blind foolishness that he's well known for, Josh decides to insert the bucket into the cornhole before anyone can stop him. What Josh apparently doesn't realize (and would he care if he did?) is that placing two extradimensional spaces within each other results in a huge explosion, followed by the creation of a two-way dimensional rift. If the people at ground zero are extremely lucky, the rift transports them to a random alternate dimension before the explosion hits them. The three of them ARE extremely lucky, although the rest of the countryside for several miles around...not so much.
