You Want Fries With That?

Taking the author's advice literally, they do, indeed, decide to try the buffet.

And the caterers went all out on this one--there's lobster, salmon, chilled shrimp and oysters on the halfshell, a wide variety of hot and cold entrees, at least a half-dozen varieties of salad, both hot and cold vegetable and potato soup, platters of exquisitely meats, breads, cold cuts, wafer-cut sandwiches and canapes, dressings of chicken, duck and turkey, molded aspic and beluga caviar, and more relishes and condiments than any of them can remember seeing in one place beefore. There are urns of coffee, chocolate, various fruit punches and cold iced tea. A separate board holds the desserts, cakes and ices, all of them almost too heartbreakingly beautiful to eat.

1. Over plates of delicious goodies, the assembled authors and characters reminisce about the lives of Scott and Josh.
2. Feats of strength and the airing of grievances follow the meal. Festivus is whenever we SAY it is.
3. Josh and Scott are both among the people lining up for the buffet, to the shock of the priest. Everyone else is pretty much used to it at this point.
4. Wait, man--we haven't even described the BOOZE! How could we have forgotten THAT?
5. Has anyone noticed yet that the buffet is at least sixteen miles long, 500 feet wide, and extends over the horizon in both directions?
6. O RLY?
7. Dinner theater follows.
