Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Everything has a demon. Including individual people. And Lord Fred has just promised his (Fred's) soul to the Josh Burbank demon in exchange for the opening of the Staircase Room window.
The demon agrees in exchange for a murder to be named later.

A blast of magical energy demolishes the window. In moments, Lord Fred is left alone. He peers out of the hole in the wall. It is dark and windy and he wonders what he will do when it rains. Far, far below he sees the lights of a bustling city. In fact, if he recalls the layout of the streets, this is Plorn, a prosperous city in the nearby country of Genua. Of course, it had no tower...

  1. Sit back down and think really hard.
  2. Fling things out in an attempt to 'send a message' to the people far below.
  3. Try to go down the staircase again.
  4. Laugh and twirl.
  5. The demon of Lord Fred shows up.
