Horrible scream

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 77136

The horrible scream came from a tall, thin teenage girl with rainbow hair being pursued by a three foot wide blob of legs and teeth. Nearby, in front of a newstand, is the ravaged by of a National Guard soldier.
Without thinking, Stacy grabs the dead man's machine gun, runs up to the monster and jams the muzzle into the midst of the teeth and legs. It swipes at her and she fires.
The recoil knocks her back. Several chunks of wall near the girl explode. The monster screams, twitches and melts. Stacy stumbles, trips over Lassie and slams to the floor. She blacks out from the stress.
She awakens to find the girl giving her water. Lassie is nearby, peeing on an overturned golf cart.
"The monster!" Stacy says.
"You killed it! Thank you! My name is Frieda."

  1. Frieda asks if Stacy has any idea what is going on.
  2. Frieda explains that random monsters, smaller then humans, have torn apart society in the past twelve hours.
  3. "Where is the gun?"
