The Never Ending Quest - Episode 76596

Water that was newly emerged from a spring was normally safe to drink, Astra knew, but she checked that there were no dead creatures nearby. The water was perfectly clear, and when she sniffed it it was odour free. She took a cautious sip, and only when she had checked that there was no abnormal taste did she swallow it.

Satisfied as she could be as to its safety, she then drank long and deep.

  1. The water was as harmless as it seemed. Refreshed, Astra continued on its way.
  2. Before long, Astra started to experience agonising stomach cramps.
  3. The water wasn't tainted with chemicals or with bacteria, but it was tainted with magic.
